Oneonone, commonly written one-on-one, refers to an interaction or relationship involving exactly two participants. The term may appear as one-on-one or, less commonly, concatenated as oneonone in branding or informal text. It describes a private, direct exchange between two people, as opposed to a group setting.

In education, one-on-one tutoring provides individualized instruction, feedback, and assessment. In business, one-on-one meetings between a manager and an employee are used for performance discussions, goal setting, and coaching. In mentoring and coaching, it focuses on personal development and tailored guidance. In therapy or counseling, private sessions address confidential, client-centered care. In sports, one-on-one refers to a duel or drill between two players, or a matchup in practice. In programming and software engineering, pair programming is a form of one-on-one collaboration where two developers work together at one workstation.

Advantages include personalized instruction, rapid feedback, stronger rapport, and targeted problem-solving. Challenges include potential power imbalances, risk of biased input, scheduling demands, and reduced exposure to diverse perspectives found in groups.
