Ompint

Ompint is a rare, naturally occurring mineral first discovered in the Ompia region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is a member of the pyrochlore mineral group, which is known for its complex crystal structure and diverse range of chemical compositions. The mineral is named after the Ompia region, where it was first identified.

Ompint has a chemical composition of (Mn,Fe)2TiSiO7, indicating the presence of manganese, iron, titanium, silicon, and oxygen.
