Okulárlencsék

Okulárlencsék, commonly referred to as eyepieces, are a crucial component of optical instruments such as telescopes, microscopes, and binoculars. Their primary function is to magnify the intermediate image produced by the objective lens or mirror, making it visible to the observer's eye. The eyepiece is placed at the point where the objective forms its image, and it acts as a magnifying glass to enlarge this image further.

The design of an okulárlencse is complex, often consisting of multiple lens elements arranged in a specific configuration. This arrangement is necessary to correct for various optical aberrations that can degrade image quality, such as chromatic aberration (color fringing) and spherical aberration (blurriness). The focal length of an okulárlencse is a key parameter determining its magnification. When combined with an objective lens or mirror, the overall magnification of an optical instrument is calculated by dividing the objective's focal length by the eyepiece's focal length. Shorter focal length eyepieces provide higher magnification, while longer focal length eyepieces offer lower magnification and a wider field of view.
