Oktyabrsky
Oktyabrsky is a town in the Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia. It is located on the Belaya River, approximately 200 kilometers southeast of Ufa, the capital of Bashkortostan. The town was founded in 1930 and was initially named after the Bolshevik leader Vladimir Lenin. In 1937, it was renamed Oktyabrsky, which translates to "October" in English, in honor of the October Revolution.
