Oegopsida
Oegopsida is an order of marine cephalopods belonging to the subclass Oegopsina. These are a diverse group of squid characterized by certain anatomical features, most notably the complete absence of internalidia. Instead, their eyes are open to the sea, a defining characteristic that gives them their scientific name. Oegopsids are found in all the world's oceans, from tropical to polar waters, and inhabit a wide range of depths, from the surface to the abyssal zone.
