Nýgengi
Nýgengi is an Icelandic term that translates to "new genesis" or "re-emergence." It often refers to a renewed interest in or revival of something that had previously declined or been forgotten. This can apply to various aspects of culture, history, or even nature. For instance, a resurgence in the popularity of traditional Icelandic crafts or music could be described as nýgengi. Similarly, if a species of plant or animal thought to be extinct is rediscovered, that event might be characterized as nýgengi.
The concept is not limited to tangible things. It can also describe a shift in societal attitudes
