Næsebrusk, or nasal cartilage, refers to the flexible, yellowish-white cartilage structures located within the nasal cavity. It plays a crucial role in maintaining the shape and structural integrity of the nose, contributing to both its aesthetic appearance and functional aspects such as airflow and olfaction. The nasal cartilage is composed primarily of hyaline cartilage, a type of connective tissue that provides strength while allowing flexibility.

The nasal cartilage is divided into several key components, including the septal cartilage, which forms the central partition (nasal septum) between the nostrils, and the lateral cartilages, which support the external framework of the nose.
