Náttúrulögum

Náttúrulögum is the Icelandic word for natural law. It refers to a system of law in which a higher universal law is believed to govern all people. This higher law is considered to be inherent in nature or divinely ordained, and it is discoverable through reason. Natural law principles are often seen as a basis for moral and ethical judgment, and they are frequently invoked in discussions about justice and human rights.
