Nyårsafton

Nyårsafton is the Swedish name for New Year's Eve, celebrated on December 31st, the last day of the Gregorian calendar year. It is a major holiday in Sweden, marked by social gatherings, festive meals, and public celebrations. Many people attend parties with friends and family, often involving special food and drinks. Traditional Swedish dishes served on Nyårsafton can vary, but often include elaborate meals that differ from the everyday.
