Nyreutløpet
Nyreutløpet, also known as the renal pelvis, is a funnel-shaped structure within the kidney that collects urine from the nephrons. It is formed by the convergence of the major calyces, which in turn receive urine from the minor calyces. The nyreutløpet acts as a conduit, channeling the urine from the kidney towards the ureter, the tube that carries urine to the bladder.
The inner lining of the nyreutløpet is composed of transitional epithelium, which is capable of stretching
Conditions affecting the nyreutløpet can include infections (pyelonephritis), stones (nephrolithiasis), and tumors. Inflammation of the nyreutløpet
