This does not mean the text is anonymous, but rather that the author has intentionally or unintentionally suppressed their personal presence, opinions, or stylistic quirks within the work. The focus shifts from the author's perspective to the content itself, allowing the reader to engage more directly with the subject matter without the perceived influence of an authorial persona.

In some forms of writing, such as certain journalistic styles or scientific reports, a nonauctorial approach is often preferred to maintain objectivity and impartiality. This aims to present information in a straightforward manner, allowing the facts or events to speak for themselves.
