They are described as the inhabitants of the Nojm Archipelago, a chain of tropical to temperate islands located in the northern waters of the imagined world, where weather patterns and ocean currents shape daily life.

The Nojmehs are characterized by a strong seafaring tradition, sophisticated canoe-building, and a trading network that links island communities with inland settlements.

The Nojmean language is the native tongue of the Nojmehs. It comprises several dialects and is written with a syllabary used for ceremonial inscriptions and maritime records. The language is noted for its rich oral poetry and a system of verbal affixes that mark aspect and mood.

Social structure centers on matrilineal clans, with elder women playing prominent roles in decision-making and ritual leadership.
