Neuroleptyków

Neuroleptyków, also known as antipsychotics, are a class of psychiatric medications primarily used to manage psychosis, which includes symptoms such as delusions, hallucinations, and disorganized thinking. They are most commonly prescribed for conditions like schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, but can also be used for severe depression or agitation.

These medications work by affecting neurotransmitter systems in the brain, particularly dopamine. By blocking dopamine receptors, neuroleptyków can help to reduce the intensity and frequency of psychotic symptoms. There are two main generations of neuroleptyków: typical (first-generation) and atypical (second-generation). Atypical neuroleptyków are often preferred due to a generally lower risk of certain motor side effects.
