Nerveförbindelse

Nerveförbindelse, often translated as nerve connection or neural connection, refers to the point where two or more nerve cells (neurons) communicate with each other. This communication is fundamental to the functioning of the nervous system, enabling the transmission of information throughout the body.

The primary site of nerveförbindelse is the synapse. A synapse is a specialized junction where a neuron can pass an electrical or chemical signal to another neuron or to a target cell, such as a muscle or gland cell.
