Nerezolvat

Nerezolvat is an adjective in Romanian that means not resolved or unresolved. It describes issues, questions, or situations that have not yet reached a solution or conclusion. The term is formed with the negating prefix ne- attached to rezolvat, the past participle of rezolva, and it agrees with the noun it modifies (for example: un caz nerezolvat, o problemă nerezolvată, două cazuri nerezolvate).

Usage and scope. Nerezolvat is commonly used in journalism, analysis, and formal writing to indicate open or pending matters. It can refer to a wide range of contexts, from practical problems in policy or administration to theoretical questions in science or mathematics. The form adapts to gender and number in Romanian: feminine nouns typically pair with nerezolvată, plural with nerezolvate.
