Neopia is a fictional world that serves as the setting for the online game and virtual community Neopets. Created by Adam Powell and Donna Williams, the site launched in 1999 and invites users to adopt, care for, and train virtual pets called Neopets. The world blends fantasy storytelling with a browser-based game library, social features, and an evolving map of regions.
