Naxoss is a fictional planet located in the Andromeda Galaxy. It is known for its unique geological formations, characterized by towering crystal spires and vast underground cavern systems. The planet's atmosphere is rich in a gas known as 'lumina,' which causes the native flora to emit a soft, ethereal glow during the planet's twilight hours. Naxoss orbits a binary star system, resulting in complex day-night cycles and varying temperature gradients across its surface.

The dominant sentient species on Naxoss are the K'tharr, a silicon-based lifeform. The K'tharr are known for their advanced understanding of psionic abilities and their communal living structures, which are often carved directly into the crystal formations. Their society is structured around a council of elders who guide the community through collective thought. They subsist on mineral-rich deposits found deep within the planet's crust, which they process through a unique biological mechanism.
