Naloran is a fictional sovereign state in the Nalorean Archipelago, a maritime region in a speculative world. The archipelago consists of seven main islands and numerous islets, with rugged coastlines, temperate rain forests, and natural harbors that have fostered a long tradition of seafaring and trade.

Naloran operates as a constitutional monarchy. The monarch holds a largely ceremonial role; executive power rests with a prime minister who leads a cabinet and is accountable to a bicameral legislature, comprising the Assembly and the Senate.
