Nalküülatsioon is a theoretical concept used in some speculative discussions about advanced artificial intelligence and consciousness. It refers to the idea of creating a digital copy of a person's consciousness, often by scanning their brain and replicating its neural structure and activity in a computational substrate. The term itself is a portmanteau, combining "nalle" (Finnish for "bear," often used in a playful or metaphorical sense) and "küülatsioon" (Finnish for "cochlea," referencing the auditory organ, but here broadly implying a complex biological structure).
