Nadobrazování

Nadobrazování is a Czech term that translates to "over-rendering" or "super-rendering" in English. It describes a phenomenon where a visual system, whether human or artificial, processes an image or scene with excessive detail or fidelity, often to the point of being counterproductive or unrealistic. This can occur in various contexts, from art and photography to computer graphics and even biological perception.

In the realm of visual arts and photography, nadobrazování might refer to a photograph that has been overly sharpened or saturated, losing its natural aesthetic and appearing artificial. It can also describe a painting that is rendered with an unnatural level of minute detail, obscuring the overall composition or emotional impact. The intent is often to capture every possible detail, but this can lead to a loss of artistic interpretation and a cluttered visual experience.

In computer graphics, nadobrazování can manifest as rendering a scene with far more polygons, textures, or lighting calculations than are perceptually necessary.
