NNoften

NNoften is a contemporary music project initiated in 2015 by producer and vocalist Arin Vale. The name, often written with a double capital N, signals a focus on experimentation and ambiguity. The project centers on atmospheric electronic textures combined with sparse pop elements and field recordings.

Beginning with self-released demos on independent platforms, NNoften built an underground following before releasing its debut studio album, Quiet Machines, in 2017. Subsequent releases include Between Signals (2019) and NNoften Remixes (2021), which gathered reinterpretations from artists in related scenes. The act has collaborated with visual artists for live performances, pairing sound with modular video projections.

Musically, NNoften favors minimal, introspective arrangements that blend analogue warmth with digital processing.
