NFCtehnoloogiat

NFCtehnoloogiat, also known as Near Field Communication technology, is a set of communication protocols that enable two electronic devices to communicate with each other when they are brought within a close proximity of about 4 centimeters or less. This short-range wireless technology is based on radio-frequency identification (RFID) and allows for contactless data transfer.

NFCtehnoloogiat operates at a frequency of 13.56 MHz and utilizes inductive coupling between two loop antennas. There are two main modes of operation for NFC. The first is peer-to-peer mode, where two NFC-enabled devices can exchange information directly. This is commonly used for tasks like transferring contacts or files between smartphones. The second mode is reader/writer mode, where an NFC device (like a smartphone) can read information from or write information to an NFC tag. NFC tags are passive devices that store small amounts of data and do not require a power source.

Applications of NFCtehnoloogiat are diverse and growing. One of the most widespread uses is in contactless payments, allowing users to make purchases by simply tapping their NFC-enabled device on a payment terminal. It is also used for access control, such as unlocking doors or boarding public transport with a tap. Smart posters and product information kiosks utilize NFC tags to provide quick access to websites, coupons, or detailed product specifications.
