NEDCsüsteemi
NEDCsüsteemi refers to the New European Driving Cycle, a standardized laboratory test procedure used to measure fuel consumption and CO2 emissions for passenger cars. It was established in 1997 and replaced the previous European test cycle. The NEDC consisted of four urban driving cycles and one extra-urban driving cycle. Each cycle simulated a specific driving scenario, including acceleration, deceleration, and stationary periods, under controlled laboratory conditions. The aim was to provide a consistent and comparable basis for evaluating the environmental performance of different vehicles.
The NEDC has been criticized for not accurately reflecting real-world driving conditions, often resulting in significantly
In response to these limitations, the NEDC was officially replaced by the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles
