NASmiljø

NASmiljø is a Norwegian term that translates to "coastal environment" or "seaside environment." It encompasses the unique ecological, social, and economic aspects found in areas where land meets the sea. This includes the intertidal zone, beaches, rocky shores, coastal wetlands, and the adjacent marine and terrestrial ecosystems.

The NASmiljø is characterized by dynamic conditions, including tidal influences, wave action, salinity gradients, and exposure to the elements.
