Mímirs

Mímir is a figure from Norse mythology, primarily known for his wisdom. He is often depicted as the guardian of Mímisbrunnr, a wellspring of knowledge located at the roots of the world tree Yggdrasil. This well is said to contain immense wisdom, and Odin, the Allfather, famously sacrificed one of his eyes to drink from it, gaining unparalleled knowledge. Mímir himself is also characterized as being exceptionally wise, and it is from his head, severed by the Vanir and preserved by Odin, that the god continues to receive counsel and prophecies.
