Muruntau

Muruntau is a massive open-pit gold mine located in the Navoi Region of Uzbekistan. It is one of the largest gold mines in the world by production volume. The mine is operated by Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combinat (NGMK), a state-owned enterprise.
