Multiradiate

Multiradiate is an adjective used in biology and related disciplines to describe structures that possess multiple radiating projections—rays, arms, or lobes—from a common center or axis. The term emphasizes the radial dispersion of parts rather than a fixed number of appendages. It derives from Latin multi- meaning many and radiatus meaning rayed.
