Multai
Multai is a town and tehsil in Betul district, Madhya Pradesh, India. It serves as the administrative headquarters of Multai tehsil and is one of the inhabited centers of southern Betul district. The town lies in the foothills of the Satpura Range, in a region characterized by mixed forest and agricultural landscape. A notable geographical feature is the origin of the Tapti River, which rises from a spring in the hills near Multai. The river runs westward across central India and reaches the Gulf of Khambhat in Gujarat.
