Monopoltårn is a Danish term that translates to "Monopoly Tower." It refers to a concept within the game Monopoly where a player accumulates all the properties of a single color group. Once a player owns all properties of a color group, they can begin building houses and hotels on those properties. This significantly increases the rent that other players must pay when they land on those spaces. Owning a monopolized color group is a key strategy for winning the game, as it allows for the rapid accumulation of wealth and can quickly bankrupt opponents.

The term "Monopoltårn" specifically highlights the idea of "towering" over opponents by controlling an entire color set. It emphasizes the dominance and strategic advantage gained by achieving this monopoly. For example, if a player owns all three green properties (e.g., Park Alle, Strandvejen, Østerbrogade in the Danish Monopoly version), they have achieved a "Monopoltårn" for that color.
