Monoklininen
Monoklininen refers to a crystal system characterized by three axes of unequal lengths, with one axis perpendicular to the plane containing the other two. This system is one of the seven crystal systems recognized in crystallography. The monoklinic system is distinguished by the fact that the angles between the axes are 90 degrees for two of them, but the third axis forms an oblique angle with the plane defined by the other two. This results in a prismatic crystal shape with a single axis of twofold symmetry.
Crystals in the monoklinic system are further classified into two main types: primitive monoklinic and centered
Monoklinic crystals are commonly found in minerals such as gypsum, orthoclase, and micas. The monoklinic system
