Modell

Modell is a German noun meaning model, representation, or prototype. It denotes a simplified or idealized version of a system, object, or concept used for analysis, design, demonstration, or testing. Common uses include physical scale models such as aircraft, cars, or model railways (Modellbahn), as well as abstract constructs such as mathematical or scientific models or computational models used to simulate phenomena.

In practical and technical contexts, Modell can refer to a template, standard, or pattern, for example in product design, data structures, or theoretical frameworks. In everyday language, the term for a fashion or photographic model is usually Model, while Modell may appear in more formal, historical, or technical phrasing.
