Minkowskiavaruuden

Minkowskiavaruuden, known in English as Minkowski spacetime, is a four-dimensional mathematical structure that combines three dimensions of space with one dimension of time. It is the geometric setting for Einstein's theory of special relativity. Unlike the Euclidean space of classical physics, which treats space and time as independent, Minkowski spacetime describes them as interwoven.

The key feature of Minkowski spacetime is its invariant interval, often denoted as ds², which measures the "distance" between two events in spacetime.
