Miljardi

Miljardi is a Swedish word that translates to "billion" in English. It is a unit of counting that represents the number 1,000,000,000. In the short scale system, which is commonly used in English-speaking countries and increasingly in Sweden, a miljardi is equal to one thousand million. In the long scale system, which was historically used in many European countries including Sweden, a miljardi would represent one million million.
