Mikroskopiikka refers to the practice and study of using microscopes to observe objects that are too small to be seen with the naked eye. The development of microscopy has a long history, with early instruments offering limited magnification and resolution. More recently, advancements like confocal microscopy and super-resolution microscopy have pushed the boundaries of optical resolution, allowing scientists to see structures within living cells with unprecedented detail.
