Mijas
Mijas is a municipality in the province of Málaga, part of the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain. It is located on the Costa del Sol, roughly midway between Málaga city and Marbella, and extends from the coast into the hills of the Sierra de Mijas. The municipality comprises two main population centers: Mijas Pueblo, a hilltop whitewashed village with narrow streets and traditional houses, and Mijas Costa, a coastal strip with beaches, resorts, and golf courses. The landscape includes sea views, olive and orange groves, and terraced hillsides.
Climate is Mediterranean, with hot summers and mild winters; most rainfall occurs in winter.
