Microaerosols

Microaerosols are tiny particles, typically less than 10 micrometers in diameter, that are suspended in a gas, most commonly air. They can originate from both natural and anthropogenic sources. Natural sources include sea salt spray, dust from arid regions, volcanic ash, and pollen. Human-caused sources are varied and significant, including combustion processes from vehicles and industrial activities, agricultural practices, and cooking. These particles play a crucial role in atmospheric processes.
