Metoksiryhmän

Metoksiryhmän is the Finnish term for a methoxy group. A methoxy group is a functional group in organic chemistry with the chemical formula -OCH3. It consists of an oxygen atom bonded to a methyl group (CH3). This group is often found attached to aromatic rings in organic compounds, such as in anisole, where it is directly bonded to a benzene ring.
