Metalliväryt

Metalliväryt is a Finnish musical project founded by composer and multi-instrumentalist Mikael Kallio. The project primarily focuses on instrumental electronic music, often described as ambient, IDM, and experimental. Metalliväryt's soundscapes are characterized by intricate synthesized melodies, evolving textures, and a contemplative atmosphere.

Kallio, the sole member of Metalliväryt, composes, performs, and produces all the music himself. His creative process involves extensive use of analog and digital synthesizers, drum machines, and various effects processors to craft his sonic visions. Metalliväryt has released several albums and EPs on independent labels, gaining a dedicated following within the electronic music community.
