Metallisetkin

Metallisetkin is a Finnish progressive rock band formed in 1970. The band's name translates to "metal relatives" or "metal cousins," which refers to their family ties and musical connections with other prominent Finnish rock acts of the time.

Metallisetkin's music style is characterized as a mix of progressive rock, acid rock, and psychedelic sounds. The band's initial releases were influenced by the musical landscape of the late 1960s and early 1970s, including the German Krautrock scene and the British progressive rock movement.

The band's formation can be attributed to a group of friends and musicians who met while attending high school.
