Melamchi

Melamchi is a municipality located in the Sindhupalchok District of Bagmati Province in Nepal. It lies in the foothills of the Himalayas and is situated approximately 80 kilometers northeast of Kathmandu. The Melamchi River, a tributary of the Indrawati River, flows through the area, giving the municipality its name. This region is known for its natural beauty, including terraced fields and forests.
