Meerabai
Meerabai, also spelled Mirabai, was a 16th-century Hindu mystic poet and saint from Rajasthan, India. She is revered as a devotee of Lord Krishna. Born a princess in the state of Marwar, she was married to Prince Bhoj Raj of Mewar. However, her spiritual inclinations led her to dedicate her life to the worship of Krishna, composing devotional songs known as bhajans.
