Mediterranis

Mediterranis was a planet in the Star Wars universe. It was a terrestrial planet and the homeworld of the species commonly known as the Navi. The planet was located in the distant Unknown Regions of the galaxy.

Asteroid fields and bands surrounded the planet. The surface of Mediterranis consisted of high temperature flames, lava flows, and rocky terrain covered in lava flows and pyroclastic rock. According to carvings on a fresco found on the planet, Mediterranis was once a beautiful planet, capable of supporting diverse and vibrant life. The similar quality can be observed on its concentric archipelagos. Unfortunately, such is no longer the case.

There were orchards on Mediterranis, filled with organisms that consumed only other living organisms. The native Navi built structures using specialized fungi that rather, than constructing buildings like others, would tower and stretch upwards.
