Meaningfulness

Meaningfulness refers to the quality of having purpose, significance, or value in one's life. It is a subjective experience that gives individuals a sense that their existence matters and contributes to something larger than themselves. Psychologically, meaningfulness is distinct from happiness, as it can coexist with negative experiences while still providing a sense of fulfillment.

Viktor Frankl, a psychiatrist and Holocaust survivor, emphasized that finding meaning in suffering is a fundamental human motivation.
