Materialplease

Materialplease is a hypothetical software framework intended to manage material data and procurement workflows in product development. The name fuses material science with a user-friendly service philosophy, emphasizing discoverability, traceability, and reproducibility in material decisions.

It is described as modular, with a core material catalog, a property metadata schema, a supplier and procurement module, and an integration layer for CAD/PLM tools.
