Martingaalina is a betting strategy that can be applied to games with two equally likely outcomes, such as roulette when betting on red or black. The core principle of the martingaalina is to double the bet after every loss. The idea is that eventually, a win will occur, and the profit from that win will recoup all previous losses, plus a small profit equal to the original bet amount. For example, if a player bets $1 and loses, they would bet $2 on the next round. If they lose again, they bet $4, and so on. When they eventually win, the profit from that win would cover the $1 + $2 + $4 = $7 lost, and the player would be left with $8 (the winning bet) minus $7 in losses, resulting in a $1 profit.
