Marsupilamis

The Marsupilami is a fictional creature originating from the Belgian comic strip Spirou et Fantasio, created by André Franquin. The Marsupilami is depicted as a primate-like animal with a long, prehensile tail, yellow fur, black spots, and a distinctive "houba houba" cry. It is known for its incredible strength, agility, and ability to mimic sounds.

The Marsupilami was first introduced in the 1952 album "Spirou et les héritiers" (Spirou and the Heirs). It quickly became a fan favorite and a symbol of the comic series. Franquin later developed a spin-off series dedicated entirely to the Marsupilami, titled "Marsupilami," which explored the creature's life and adventures in its natural habitat, the fictional Palombian jungle.
