Maravar

Maravar is a Tamil community primarily found in the southern districts of Tamil Nadu, India, including Ramanathapuram, Sivaganga, Madurai, Theni, Dindigul, and Virudhunagar. The community is traditionally associated with martial prowess and is historically known for its warrior lineage. The term "Maravar" itself is derived from the Tamil word "maram," which means valor or bravery.
