Maonan
Maonan, also known as Mao Nan, is an ethnic group primarily residing in the southern part of China's Guizhou Province. They are one of the 55 officially recognized ethnic minorities in China. The Maonan people have a rich cultural heritage, with their language, customs, and traditions distinct from the Han Chinese majority. Their language, Maonan, belongs to the Tai-Kadai language family and is spoken by a significant portion of the Maonan population.
