Manschettendurchführungen
Manschettendurchführungen, also known as cable glands or strain reliefs, are components used to seal and protect electrical cable entries into enclosures. They are designed to pass a cable through a wall, panel, or housing while maintaining a seal against environmental factors such as dust, water, and oil. A primary function is to prevent the cable from being pulled or twisted, thereby protecting the conductors and connections from mechanical stress.
These devices typically consist of a threaded body, a sealing nut, and a clamping sleeve or collet.
