Mandlipõletikud
Mandlipõletikud, more commonly known as tonsillitis, refers to inflammation of the tonsils, which are two oval-shaped pads of tissue at the back of the throat. These tissues help trap germs that enter your throat.
The most common cause of tonsillitis is a viral infection, such as the common cold or flu.
Diagnosis is typically made based on a physical examination and a throat swab to identify the cause.
